Overview
Patrick Dunbar-Lavoie joined LEGEM in August 2022 and is developing a practice in corporate immigration and global mobility.
Patrick first discovered his interest in business immigration while articling at a boutique immigration law firm in Montreal, Quebec. He then joined the Public Health Agency of Canada where he assisted aerospace companies and high-level sports organizations in securing national interest exemptions under the COVID-19 Emergency Orders in Council. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys volunteering with community legal clinics and coaching youth basketball.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.), a Bachelor of Common Law (LL.B), and a Bachelor of Arts in History (B.A., cum laude distinction) from McGill University. He is fluent in English and French and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.
